To permanently delete your Facebook account you need to start the termination process on this link (you need to be logged in before visiting link). After clicking the Submit button your account will be deleted in two weeks, but you must not log into the Facebook in those two weeks. If you do so you will stop the termination process and your account won’t be deleted.
So that is it – click the link, wait for two weeks and you are out of there.

Please delete all past information that I have listed on facebook in the past. I find that facebook isn’t what I really want as a means to communicate with past friends. I also don’t approve the direction facebook is heading which is to make everything public.
